More than three quarters of young adults dream of buying their own house or apartment. However, in many cases it is likely to remain a dream, write the economists at Credit Suisse (CS) in a study.
In addition to the shared apartment, other new forms of living such as student dormitories, “micro-apartments” and “co-living” have also become established – a basic constant here being an urban environment and the efficient use of scarce living space. These forms of living are also already being taken up with interest by investors looking for alternatives, according to CS.
